Merino wool - special wool from special sheep
This extra-fine merino stole is a truly versatile accessory. Our stole is lightweight and can be worn in all seasons, and is woven from 100% soft merino wool.
It is suitable for both men and women. With its beautiful, transparent surface, delicate fringes, and elegant drape, it can be worn as a wrap over the shoulders or knotted as a scarf. Feather-light yet protective against wind and cooler temperatures, it is therefore an uncomplicated companion when traveling or enjoying dinner on the terrace.
Merino wool is a special type of wool that comes from Merino sheep. This breed of sheep is known for its fine and exceptionally soft wool, which differs from that of other sheep breeds. Merino sheep were originally bred in Spain, but today they are also raised in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, which are among the largest producers of Merino wool. At House of Scotland, we naturally take great care to ensure that our partners use only mulesing-free wool.
