Merino possum products are:
- Exceptionally warm, breathable, and cozy thanks to a blend of merino wool and possum hair. This unique combination harmoniously and comfortably unites two worlds of natural fibers.
- Merino sheep's wool naturally regulates the body climate, and possum hair complements this with its unique heat retention and lightness.
- The fineness of merino wool is perceived as particularly pleasant, fluffy-warm, elastic, and breathable. It regulates body temperature, wicks away moisture, and is not stiff like other wool products. Therefore, you don't sweat even on warm days.
- Possum hair is characterized by its hollow core. This gives it a heat-insulating effect otherwise only found in polar bears. Possum fiber is feather-light and thus contributes significantly to human well-being.
- The combination of crimped merino wool and the hollow fibers of possum hair acts as a comfortable insulating layer against both cold and heat. For this reason, you can wear the merino-possum hair sweater even in summer without overheating.
- Nylon and other synthetic fibers were completely avoided! Instead, silk was chosen as the sewing thread – also an extremely high-quality natural product!
- Our merino and possum hair sweaters are made from 100% high-quality natural fibers. They contain 53% merino wool, 40% possum hair, and 7% silk. You can machine wash the sweater with wool detergent on the wool cycle.
- Due to the high demands placed on the selected merino fibers and the combination with possum hair, our merino-possum products are hardly susceptible to pilling.
